Miss Spencer is a certified teacher who is passionate about sharing her love of learning with all of her students! With more than 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience, she has worked with a variety of students who face different learning needs to meet numerous academic goals. At Je peux, Miss Spencer offers lessons in all academic areas including French Literacy, English Literacy and Math (in both English and French). With such a diverse portfolio, Miss Spencer can mix the different subject areas within a single tutoring session in order to best meet your child’s learning needs.

To support her own learning, Miss Spencer has a Bachelor of Music with a major in Theory and Composition and a minor in French from the University of Western Ontario. She completed her Bachelor of Education at Lakehead University and her Masters of Distance Education at Athabasca University. To aid in her French Language proficiency, Miss Spencer studied part time at the University of Québec à Chicoutimi. She continues to further her teaching techniques through additional training in Special Education, Reading and Math instruction. In her free time, Miss Spencer loves to travel and is learning Spanish, Arabic and Japanese.

Miss Maddie Millard is a university student who has a great passion for learning and educating. Miss Maddie has a lot of experience working with children of all ages through; assistant dance teaching, tutoring, babysitting, and an in-school co-op placement with a SERT. In the summer, Miss Maddie works at a daycare. Miss Maddie is very patient and is prepared to help students of all abilities. At Je Peux, Miss Maddie is available to tutor in both French and English as she graduated high school in 2020 with a French Immersion Certificate and as an Ontario Scholar recipient. Miss Maddie is available for French/English language and math support for students through the grades K-6.

Miss Maddie is currently attending Queen’s University. She is enrolled in the concurrent education program where she will receive a Bachelor of Education in the primary/junior division, as well as a Bachelor of Honours Arts with a major in French and a minor in Sociology. Miss Maddie is set to graduate in 2025 and is extremely excited for her future as an educator and is enthusiastic to be working with Je Peux.

Miss Rebecca is a university student in her 4th year at the university of Guelph. Miss Rebecca has experience working with children of all ages by; babysitting, assistant curling coaching, and running children’s activities at resorts and events. Miss Rebecca is eager to help students learn and work through their schooling together.

At Je peux, miss Rebecca is available to tutor in French Literacy, English Literacy and Math (in both English and French) as she graduated high school with her bilingual certificate for attending school in French from JK to grade 12. She enjoys French so much that she is now completing a French minor while also completing her degree in Family Studies. Miss Rebecca is set to graduate in December of 2022 and is looking to apply to master’s programs for bilingual Speech Language Pathology after that.
